Youth business start up program

Tass implemented business startup program supported by the Government of Japan through UNICEF and (ILO).  320 young people are trained to engage in commercial activity where they received vocational and theoretical training. After the completion of the training, a committee is appointed  to evaluate the business plans presented by the trainees.

Twenty eight of the winners were chosen from Bosaso where an other twenty eight from Garowe. Each winner is awarded  a grant of $1300. The aim of the grant is to help each winner start a new business of their choice.
